The Seeds of Cyrus vs. The Monsters of Terror

Many have warned me to stay silent and not post anything for my own safety, but I cannot remain quiet while my people—innocent Iranians seeking nothing but freedom—are being killed, imprisoned, tortured, and executed every single day under this brutal regime.

I cannot ignore the mothers grieving over the cold bodies of their children, some as young as 10or 12. I could be that child, that mother, that sister. You could be them. Imagine just for a second, being a father searching for his son among rows of the deceased. You shouldn't ignore it. If you can, please go in front of a mirror and ask yourself: "Am I human? Do I have a beating heart? Or am I just a monster like the IRGC?"

For many years, we shouted for freedom; we shouted for help. Where were your voices when 40,000 of us were slaughtered? Now, because familiar names like Israel and America are involved, you have suddenly found your voice? Where were you all these years? Where were you in 2022 when they killed a 22-year-old girl, Jina (Mahsa) Amini, just because of her hijab? When we were shouting "Woman, Life, Freedom" and they killed us all over again? Where were you when they killed Students in their own dormitory in 1999? They took our loved ones. They raped our girls in prisons, and after the rapes, they tortured them, shot them in privet parts, burned them, and executed them.

There is one unbelievable fact for you foreigners—I say foreigners because it’s not unbelievable for us Iranians, we lived every second of it—under the Islamic Republic’s law, before executing a woman, they rape her because, in their brutal beliefs, it is a twisted interpretation of their law. Their names aren't in the Epstein files because, under this regime, you can legally marry an underage girl; it’s a heaven for pedophiles, isn't it? In this law, if a father kills his daughter, he might only get 10 to 15 years in jail, and he’ll likely come out sooner anyway. But if a girl kills her rapist in self-defense, they will execute HER. So please, OPEN YOUR EYES ! This is what we are fighting against, and this is why this war started.

For decades, we fought with empty hands. We tried every civil way to gain our basic human rights, but the only answer we got was bullets, imprisonment, torture, rape, and executions. Where were you all these 48 years?

We are not naive. We know there is no virtue in war. However, what you are seeing today is the result of 48 years of a brutal Islamic dictatorship—a regime that, just in 2026, massacred over 40,000 innocent people in only three days. We know foreign aid is rarely purely altruistic. But if you look a little closer instead of just criticizing, you’ll see that this time, actions are finally aligning with human rights. They are helping a nation get rid of its dictators. If you read history, you’ll understand the deep bond between the Iranian and Jewish people. It was the Persian king, Cyrus the Great, who saved them, and today they are standing with the Iranian people in return. Yes, we are afraid of war; we are not stupid. But this is the last and only way left for us. There’s no breath left to shout, no young souls left to take to the streets, because the Islamic Republic has killed them all, leaving us in an ocean of tears and sorrow. We are asking for help from the only ship that is passing by and willing to help us.

Don't mistake the target! This isn't an attack on the Iranian people; it's a war against the Islamic Republic that has held us hostage for half a century. That's why, even though we fear war, there is a sense of relief—because with every strike, one of the killers of our children is gone. If you've never lived a day under a religious tyranny or a dictatorship, please don't judge our struggle. We have had enough of the world's silence for 48 years, and now we finally see a chance to survive. We are choosing freedom. We are ready to sacrifice everything so that our children can live in a free Iran, living their lives as they wish. Not with fear, not with torture, and not under the IRGC.

To those stuck in political debates, one sentence might help you understand us: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." This is our reality right now.

Distance has not detached our hearts. We are the extensions of the screams echoing from the streets of Iran. They told us "if you don't like it, leave it." They eradicated our dreams, took our friends, and cut off our wings. They tried to bury us, but they didn't know we were seeds; every execution and every murder just sows the seeds of thousands more cries and shouts for freedom. Yes, we are in exile, far from home, but they couldn't burn our hope or take away our identity. We are the children of Cyrus the Great, and we will fight until our last breath.

I have said this thousands of times, but I’ll say it again: Silence is not neutrality; it is complicity. While you have the luxury of choice, we have the duty to fight. But Please use your voice the right way and stay on the right side of history. Being a voice is the least we can do, but it is what the oppressors fear most. Do not have selective activism; it is real bullshit. Know this: Iranians are different from the Islamic Republic. The Islamic Republic are not Iranians; they are bloodthirsty monsters. Which side are you choosing? Because there are only two: the Iranian people, children of Cyrus the Great, OR a brutal regime.

  1. Thanks Asal jan for this blog. I like it, but you know they stand where they have more benefits or they can get bigger funds, also they’re against this war bc they’re not really anti-war, the reality is they’re anti American, anti Israel, anti Zionist, ant imperialist and so on.
